Life is a journey and we're inviting people along for the ride.
We're Fern and Chrysa.
We've spent more than three decades collecting stories together.
Sometimes they happen -

on a mountain road in Colorado.

while tackling a Spartan Race together.

standing in front of a Bigfoot crossing sign.
They even happen while renting a Home Depot truck and watching a teenager desperately try to decide whether to break protocol because one of us urgently needed a bathroom. We laughed so hard afterward that my smartwatch registered it as a noise alert.

And those are the stories we love.
The Curious Caravan was born from a simple realization:
The best parts of life rarely happen when everything goes according to plan.

We find ourselves drawn to experiences that make us stop, pay attention, and appreciate the adventure hidden in the ordinary moments. We've wandered through historic ruins, explored small towns, driven across the country, chased mountain views, and discovered that curiosity makes almost every experience more meaningful.
Colorado holds a special place in our hearts. What began as visits to see our son while he was stationed there became a place that felt unexpectedly like home.
So here we are, creating The Curious Caravan because life is full of stories worth sharing. From the adventures, lessons, laughter, creativity, and connection to the moments that remind us why we still choose life together, every single day.
You'll find stories about good coffee, road trips, family memories, community, hard-earned lessons, and the everyday moments that somehow become the stories we tell for years.
About Fern:

And along the way, some of our adventures grew into communities. The Reiki Circle is one of them.
Most of all, you'll find two people who are still learning, still exploring, and still saying "yes" to the next adventure.
Whether an adventure takes us across the country or simply across town, it's the story that matters.
